Atlanta Police Athletic League To Host Free Youth Tennis Play Day
The Atlanta Police Athletic League will host a free tennis play event on Saturday, APRIL 5, 2014 at 120 Anderson Av. NW, Atlanta, GA 30314 from Noon to 2:30 pm. Children aged 7 and up are welcome to attend. No pre-registration needed.
The event is a part of a nationwide effort to get kids excited and active in tennis. During the month of March, the United States Tennis Association is inviting kids of all ages and skill levels to try tennis at local events and facilities across the country.
Studies have shown that an early, positive experience in sports is vital to combatting physical inactivity and creating a lifelong commitment to an active and positive lifestyle. The Atlanta Police Athletic League regularly provides free educational and athletic activities to help prevent youth related crime. For more information, visit www.atlantapal.org.
