ATLANTA POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE TO HOST LOW COST SUMMER CAMP
The Atlanta Police Athletic League will host a low cost Summer Camp program for Atlanta children ages 8-18. The summer camp will be held June 2 - July 18 at the Anderson Park Facility (120 Anderson Avenue, NW 1154, Atlanta Georgia 30314) and A.D. Williams Center (1154 James Jackson Pkwy, NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30318).
The Summer Camp application and registration form is available on the home page of AtlantaPAL.org. The camp is open to Atlanta residents only and applications must be turned in with the $20.00 registration fee. Additional requirements include a copy of a valid Georgia State Driver’s License and a copy of a current utility bill.
Both breakfast and lunch will be provided. The Summer Camp will also include field trips, sporting activities and a weekly reading program. The Summer Camp is looking for adult volunteers during camp hours. Summer Camp applications are due by May 16 and applications can be emailed or dropped off at any PAL center.
