"Atlanta, more than any other city, offers incomparable resources to realize potential and act on the great ideas set forth by forward-thinking individuals and businesses," said Mayor Reed. "South by Southwest gives us a unique opportunity to promote Atlanta as the cultural and economic center of the Southeast. I look forward to joining representatives from the Metro Atlanta Chamber and ChooseATL as we work to attract and retain top talent in the City of Atlanta.”

Mayor Reed will participate on two panels and visit the ChooseATL House while in Austin, Texas. On Sunday, March 13, Mayor Reed will join Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer on a panel to discuss immigration, diversity and economic growth in global cities. The panel will be hosted by the Partnership for a New American Economy. On Monday, March 14, Mayor Reed will join District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser on a panel to discuss the future of metro mobility.
