Atlanta Streetcar Announces Fourth of July Schedule

ATLANTA – The Atlanta Streetcar will run a modified schedule on Independence Day, Monday, July 4, 2016.

The Streetcar will operate under normal hours over the holiday weekend, from Friday, July 1 to Sunday, July 3, 2016.

On Monday, July 4, the Streetcar will begin operations at 9:00 a.m. and run until 11:00 p.m. During the hours of 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., the Streetcar will run an amended route from Woodruff Park to Park Place to accommodate the large crowds expected to attend holiday events in the Downtown area. Four streetcar stops, including Peachtree Center, Carnegie at Spring, Centennial Olympic Park and Luckie at Cone, will not offer service during this time.

On Tuesday, July 5, the Streetcar will resume normal operations of 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. with full service to all stops.

The Atlanta Streetcar provides cost-effective and convenient service for passengers to visit restaurants, shops and Atlanta’s world-class tourist destinations, including the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Center and Historic Site, the Center for Civil and Human Rights, the Georgia Aquarium and the College Football Hall of Fame. All Atlanta residents are invited to make the Streetcar part of their holiday plans.
