    Mayor Kasim Reed to Participate in Ceremony at Emory Proton Therapy Center

    90-ton cyclotron to be installed 

    WHO:

    Brendan Lyden, Vice President, Global Site Solutions

    WHAT:

    Mayor Kasim Reed will join representatives from the Georgia Proton Treatment Center (GPTC), LLC, Brasfield & Gorrie, Signet Development, and Emory University for the delivery and installation of the 90-ton cyclotron.  The cyclotron will be the source of the proton therapy beam at the center when it opens.

    Thursday, July 13, 2017
    11:30 a.m. 

    WHERE:

    Juniper Street between North Avenue and Ponce de Leon in front of the proton center. 
    Self-parking will be available at the Georgian Terrace at 659 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30308.
