City of Atlanta 311 Customer Service Call Center to Operate this Weekend
ATLANTA –The City of Atlanta today announced that the ATL311 Customer Service Call Center will be fully operational on September 16 and 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The ATL311 call center, which normally operates only on weekdays, will open this weekend to facilitate ongoing clean-up efforts due to Tropical Storm Irma and to assist with the anticipated large crowds attending three major events hosted this weekend in Downtown and Midtown Atlanta.
“The goal of ATL311 is to improve citywide customer service and make the City of Atlanta more accountable, responsive and efficient,” said Rocky Atkins Executive Director of Customer Service. “We hope that this additional means of providing information and assistance will help our residents and visitors enjoy a relaxed and organized weekend.”
Events include:
- Music Midtown on Saturday and Sunday at Piedmont Park;
- Atlanta United FC versus Orlando City on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium; and
- Atlanta Falcons versus the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
ATL311 customer service representatives will answer all non-emergency calls pertaining to city services, including street closures, trash clean-up, and operating hours of city parks. ATL311 is accessible online 24 hours a day at ATL311.com. In case of emergency, please dial 911.
