Purpose:

To lead citywide workforce initiatives that target youth, young adults, and special populations through innovative and high-impact programming.

Key Functions:

  • Administers all Signature Program youth employment services, including:
  • Designs career readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy pathways for youth ages 14–24.
  • Manage partnerships with philanthropic organizations to fund and scale citywide youth employment opportunities.
    • Annie E. Casie Foundation (AECF) – Summer-to-Perm Employment
    • Arthur M. Blank Foundation (PACE)
  • Expand workforce innovation pilots
    • SCEI
  • Coordinate with workforce partners to facilitate career readiness bootcamps designed to equip residents with essential workforce skills
    • ACSS Bootcamp (can this be a hover info tool tip?)
  • Business Services (make hyperlink to https://www.worksourceatlanta.org/employers/business-services/employers-for-youth-worksites/) connects the Atlanta business community with qualified talent and strengthen the city’s economic mobility through workforce initiatives and partnerships.
