Do you need to complete an inspection? DCP now accepts inspections for buildings, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work when completed by an approved third party. All third-party inspection agencies MUST first be vetted and approved by the City, before conducting any inspections. These third-party inspection agencies may be a corporate entity, partnership, or sole proprietor licensed to do business in the City of Atlanta. An approved agency must employ one or more qualified professionals-in-charge and inspectors from each required discipline, based on the scope of work of the project.
