Overview

The Zoning Review Board considers property rezonings and special use permits. In its review, the Board takes into account recommendations from the relevant Neighborhood Planning Unit (NPU) and from the Office of Zoning and Development staff. The ZRB then makes recommendations on rezonings to the Zoning Committee of the Atlanta City Council.

Public Hearing Schedule

2026 ZRB Public Hearing Schedule (PDF)

Zoning Review Board public hearings are held in the City Council Chambers on the second floor of Atlanta City Hall, located at 55 Trinity Avenue, at 6:00 p.m. on the dates listed in the schedule. Prior to each hearing, ZRB members are briefed on items listed on the published agenda. Briefing begins at 5:00 p.m. Members of the public may attend the briefing but may not participate or present during that time.

Citizens may email documents for inclusion in the official record by submitting materials to zrb-hearings@atlantaga.gov by 2:00 p.m. the day before the public hearing.
