Welcome to DEAM (Department of Enterprise Asset Management)
The Department of Enterprise Asset Management is comprised of four major divisions. These divisions are Administration, Real Estate, Capital Projects, and Facilities Operations. All four divisions work together to maintain our infrastructure inventory, currently at 126 facilities comprising 4.2 million sq. ft. Chris Davis is the Commissioner of the department.
Chris Davis, Commissioner
Chris Davis currently serves as Commissioner for the City of Atlanta Department of Enterprise Asset Management, where he leads strategic initiatives encompassing facility oversight, capital improvement programs, operational management, technical services, and real estate administration. With more than forty years’ experience across engineering, construction, facilities management, and public sector leadership, Commissioner Davis has guided substantial infrastructure and capital projects, including municipal buildings, airport operations, extensive renovations, and new construction undertakings.
Prior to his current appointment, Commissioner Davis held several key leadership positions within the City of Atlanta, such as Deputy Commissioner, Director of Technical Services, Senior Facility Manager, and Assistant Director of Facility Maintenance with the Department of Aviation. Throughout his career, he has focused on operational excellence, strategic planning, project management, safety and regulatory compliance, organizational development, and building collaborative partnerships across departments and communities.
Commissioner Davis earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa and has pursued advanced training in leadership, project management, and emergency management. He is committed to community engagement and contributes through mentorship, youth athletics, outreach programs, and ongoing volunteer activities within the Atlanta area.

• Provide lifecycle management of physical assets to sustainably achieve their stated business objectives.
• Coordinate activities to realize maximum value from assets.
• Provide strategic oversight, and efficient management of the City’s real property holdings and owned or lease facilities.
• Provide efficient property acquisitions.
• Provide the City with a Facility Program Management Office.
• Provide safe, clean, well maintained, accessible and sustainable facilities.
