Lifeguard Training Program

Learn the basic fundamentals of lifeguarding through American Red Cross training. The purpose of this training is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic, breathing and cardiac emergencies. The lifeguard training will consist of three in-person classes with an online training component required before the first in-person class. The online training information will be provided upon registration. Participants may be hired upon completion of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course. If the participant is 15 years of age, they must have a valid Georgia Department of Labor work permit from their school. Work permit information will be provided upon registration.

Where: Rosel Fann Natatorium - 365 Cleveland Avenue, SE Atlanta Georgia 30354

Cost: Free (if hired by City of Atlanta)

Class Capacity: 20 participants per class max
