To complete a reservation, an online account is required. To create an account, check availability and make a reservation click the following link: www.atlantaga.gov/iparcs .
Customers can access facility availability, facility descriptions, park addresses, obtain user fees and request reservations of DPR facilities through our online reservation system. This includes ball fields, basketball/tennis courts, pavilions, and greenspaces.
For Pavilions/Greenspaces:
- Reservations are accepted no more than 90 calendar days no less than 14 calendar days. We are unable to make exceptions to this policy.
- Any unreserved space within 14 calendar days may be used on a first come first serve basis. There can be no more than 75 people, no amplified sound, and no portables.
- All Reservations include a refundable $100.00 event bond/deposit.
- Amplified sound requests must be made 30 calendar days or more and must accompany a permit.
- Refunds and date changes are allowed 30 or more calendar days of an event.
- There are no refunds for inclement weather.
- All cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing via email at parksreservationist@atlantaga.gov
- Pavilion fees vary based size and COA residency or non-residency
- Large Gathering/Greenspace permit. $50.00 fee for each event.
- Splash pads are NOT available for rental.
For Ballfields/Outside Basketball/Tennis Courts:
· All fields must be booked in ONE (1) hour periods.
· Payment Deadlines: Payment for field reservations must be made in full at the time of reservation submittal. Ballfield reservations made less than 3 days in advance must be paid via credit card and with our Reservations office. All reservations must be made within 72 hours of the requested date.
· Rain-Outs: To schedule make-ups for rain-outs, customers must notify the Office of Parks via email at parksreservationist@atlantaga.gov within one (1) day of the rain out. A refund may be issued if a new date cannot be agreed upon. If notice is not given within one (1) day, no makeups or refunds will be issued. Makeups will have to be scheduled for the same type of field rented (i.e... lighted field for lighted field). All rainouts must be scheduled within the same season. A refund may take 7-10 business days for issuance.
· All ballfield rainouts, cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing via email at parksreservationist@atlantaga.gov
· All permits must be brought to the field during every scheduled date. Failure to do so may result in being asked to leave the field. No refund or reschedule will be issued if permit is not on person.
For Outdoor Festival Permits:
To obtain an Outdoor Festival Permit, you must submit the application to the Mayor’s Office of Special Events (MOSE) at https://www.atlantaga.gov/government/mayor-s-office/executive-offices/office-of-special-events no later than 90 days prior to your event. The elements of an Outdoor Festival are:
- Assembly/Walks/Races
- Amusements (moonwalks, dunk tanks, and other large inflatable games)
- Vending of food or merchandise/Food trucks selling
- Collection of registration fees
- Distribution or sale of Alcohol
- Stages, tents, or other temporary structures
- Commercial Advertising or Product Sampling
For Indoor Recreation Center Reservations:

Just a friendly note: the following are Prohibited in Parks: Advertising/promoting, fundraising, exchange of funds for participation, unpermitted boot camps, alcohol/beer/wine, vending, boilers, deep fryers, ponies, trains, inflatables/moonwalks, dunk tanks, fireworks and any equipment that calls for independent power are prohibited in the park. No driving on the grass without permission and/or protective flooring. Please save the trees – Do not hang or tie anything to our precious trees.
