General Requests for Legal Services

City of Atlanta employees and/or officials (who have been approved to do so by department management) should submit requests for legal services by the Department of Law via CityNet (under the “Forms” menu option).  City employees and/or officials who have been served with a lawsuit related to your job duties should notify the Department of Law via CityNet.

The Department of Law does not provide legal advice to members of the public. The Department of Law is limited to providing legal advice, counsel and representation to the Mayor, City Council members, City officials and departments in all civil matters regarding the City of Atlanta, Georgia.
