Feet on the Street Recycling Education Campaign
Feet on the Street is a Recycling Education Campaign facilitated by The Department of Public Works (DPW) and The Recycling Partnership to improve the quantity and quality of recyclables collected from single-family homes across the city of Atlanta while achieving the City's waste diversion goals and better serving our residents. The Feet on the Street program puts a team of people on the streets of Atlanta to audit residential recycling carts for contamination, provides residents real-time feedback on the quality of their recycling through the "Oops" tag left on the cart if contamination if found, and delivers a broad-based educational campaign across the City to improve recycling outcomes. The Citywide expansion of the 2017 pilot launches in Fall of 2019. See below for more information about the program.
CARTlanta Recycling Program
The Cartlanta Recycling Program works to ensure that residential customers have the resources to participate in waste reduction and sustainability practices through recycling.
For recycling not accepted curbside or for those in multi-family homes that do not have curbside recycling, the following options are available to you.
