Midnight Basketball – Season 10 Overview

The City of Atlanta's Midnight Basketball League celebrated a milestone tenth season, continuing its mission of providing a safe, structured, and empowering environment for young adults through sports, mentorship, workforce development, health resources, and community engagement. Since its launch, Midnight Basketball has served as more than just a basketball league—it has become a platform for crime prevention, leadership development, and positive community impact.

Season 10 Participation

  • Women's Division: 8 teams | 81 players
  • Men's Division: 16 teams | 169 players
  • Total Participation: 24 teams | 250 players

Host Recreation Centers

Season 10 games were held across six City of Atlanta recreation centers:

  • Rosel Fann Recreation Center 
  • Thomasville Recreation Center 
  • Adams Park Recreation Center 
  • William Walker Recreation Center 
  • Grove Park Recreation Center 
  • C.T. Martin Natatorium and Recreation Center 

These facilities provided accessible locations throughout Atlanta, allowing participants from multiple neighborhoods to compete, connect, and engage with valuable community resources.

Community Impact

Throughout the season, participants had access to workforce development opportunities, health and wellness resources, educational programming, mentoring, and community services alongside league play. The program continues to demonstrate the power of sports as a vehicle for positive youth and young adult development while strengthening neighborhoods across Atlanta.
