Cooling Center Information

The City of Atlanta will be opening a cooling center as temperatures begin to rise across the city. The center will open today, Monday, June 23, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. through tomorrow, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The cooling center will be located at Selena S. Butler Park, located at 98 William Holmes Borders Senior Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30312.

Bottled water will be provided to residents while in the cooling center.
