Mayor Kasim Reed today announced that the City of Atlanta will raise its minimum wage to $15 per hour over the next two fiscal years, starting with an increase to $13 per hour in Fiscal Year 2018, beginning on July 1, 2017.

The City of Atlanta today announced that Mayor Kasim Reed was a featured speaker in a plenary session of the American Jewish Committee’s (AJC) Global Forum in Washington, D.C. this morning. The three-day program includes addresses by U.S. and world leaders and a mixture of large plenary sessions featuring headline speakers and smaller breakout sessions.
